Until the problem is fixed, Microsoft advises against updating a Windows 11 21H2 installation to the latest version 22H2. Microsoft is working on a solution and plans to provide an update in one of the next versions. Most of the time, however, an auto-update should occur once the problem has been fixed by the developer. Those who aren't sure how to update their installed games and apps should contact the developer of those games and apps. Microsoft writes that affected users of Windows 11, version 22H2, may be able to fix the issue by updating their games and game-related apps to the latest available version. Microsoft has therefore set an upgrade blocker for feature updates to Windows 11 22H2.
